Location: Arizona | His hocks are set to high for my taste, and he has long pasterns....these are just things that I don't like...doesn't mean he's not going to be awesome! |

Location: Four Corners Colorado | Thank you for the input! I do apperciate it. He is more a long yearling than a two year old in that pic. |

Very nice well balanced colt with over 6 well known successful speed lines in the barrel arena ... he is going to float effortlessly from barrel to barrel ..
Nice pastern setup, sloping shoulders, good neck, strong back, strong shoulder, heartgirth, with power in the rear end to spare ... NICE!!
I think people are used to the short legged stocky type horses and fail to realize the cannon bones are almost adult size when foal is born and the forearm etc are what grow as the foal grows to gain his height and determines the length of stride the colt will have ...
As this colt's body matures .. he is going to be a looker and have an excellent overall barrelhorse conformation and I think you are going to kick some butt with this guy!!

Location: Four Corners Colorado | Thanks guys! I am hoping to futurity him. Right now I want to keep him bubble wrapped till he is big enough ride. So far he has a really good mind and I'm thinking he is going to be a natural. |

He was a beautiful baby! I'm just hoping he grows into himself.

Location: Texas | I love his pedigree and like the looks of him. I hate looking at horses his age though... It's the awkward teenage years where so much is going to change. I'd love to see him again in a few years and be able to compare pictures. |

| I think he conformation wise looks great at this point alot of long yearling especially the taller type appear to have long pasterns...really long everything as long as angles stay were they need to be will be lovely. And I bet he is just going to be a very large horse so he has the giraffe look at the moment. I believe in a barrel horse news mag marry walker talks about how latte was not particularly pretty and how he appeared to have long pasterns as a two year old that he was not highly muscles and just look weird. So no worries. |

I agree - I really think his colt pic would probably be better to judge from, and he is super cute in it.
They are all a little gangly at that age, give him a year and it will make a big diffence. |

Lol yeah that is a really good way to describe him. His dam is every bit 16.2 so I expect him to be pretty tall. He already handles himself well so I think he'll make a pretty nice barrel horse once he grows up. |
