Equilix vs. Platinum Performance

I was just wondering if anyone had analyzed the differences between equilix and platinum performance. I feed platinum but sometimes I find it to be a bit costly and labor intensive. I have some horses that are just turned out most the time but I still want them to get the nutrients that help them stay healthy. I've used both products but I was just wondering from a nutritional stand point if one was better than the other.

My horses would not eat the Equilix. I do put out GrowStrong loose minerals for the horses that I do not ride. The performance horses get Platinum. It is easier to feed that than a bunch of supplements for different things.

My horses love both products....they lick the feed pans clean when they get platinum and they like the licks too. I found it interesting that the horses of mine that were on platinum weren't as interested in the equilix than the ones that didn't get platinum. I was just wondering from the perspective of nutrition which is a superior product. Or are they ok to be used together. I was thinking about putting a lick out in the pasture and then when I ride the ones I ride they get their platinum.

I think Platinum is a by far the best supplement on the market. They have the research behind it and it does what it says it will. I give my Redmond salt in her bucket and feed platinum. I would call and ask PLatinum about using those two products together. You dont want to cause a problem.
