| Any experience with both? I know soft rides are well known, respected, and loved, I tend to lean that way, but since the easy boots are about half the price, I thought it worth asking.
Looking to get a set since we are stalling on concrete at a couple shows plus longer trailer rides. |

Location: Smack Dab in the Middle | I've never had Soft Rides, but have two pairs of the Easy Boot Rx's and really have been pleased with them for multiple applications. I have Air Ride brand mats in my trailer, so I never have to use mine in my trailer, but have used them for stalling on concrete, and they make a great difference. I've used them on rocks, for extra protection on my mare when she lost a shoe, on my navicular horse, warmed up in them, even did some turnout with them. They have held up fantastic, and I hope to get at least another pair or two so that I have a full set for each of my horses. I actually really like that they aren't clunky like I've seen on other horses at shows, watching them "CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP" down alley ways just made me like my Rx's better. |

| I have the EasyBoot RX and have only seen the Soft Rides as many of my friends have them. I am perfectly happy and please with the EB RX and haven't wished I had gotten the SRs....both are good quality products as far as I can tell and they both do the job they were intended for. |

Location: Oklahoma | Easyboot RX's pad isn't nearly as thick as the Soft Rides, so if you have one that's stone bruised or sore, then I would think Soft Rides would be better. For just giving them a cushion on concrete, I think the RX are fine for that. They aren't as heavy as the SF's, either, so I would think that would be better on their joints, as well. I have a full set of the RX's, and that's what I use when I stall on concrete and haul. |

Location: Kansas | I have Soft Rides for my horse with crappy feet and have never once regretted buying them. He lives in them during the summers and will do whatever possible to avoid stepping off of them when I unstrap them. I've not compared the Easyboots, but figure the Soft Rides are an investment in my horse's soundness so I look at them that way rather than as an expensive piece of tack. |

Location: Texas! | Good post! I was just searching this topic the other day! I think I'm going to go with Easyboot, I just want something that will help my guy on the frozen rocky ground and feel like the softrides would be needed more for serious problem or therapy. |

| You can buy various different pads to go in the EasyBoot and change them out as needed, if I'm not mistaken.

Location: Texas! | Just got my boy his Easyboot Rx today! Hopefully they can give him some relief from the frozen ground we've got! He's always been a tender footed horse and have noticed bruising on his soles this winter. Hopefully we don't get any abscesses.
