Lyndee Stairs charges $800 a month.
I agree with the above. Most wont take one for 30 days as you just barely get to scratch the surface at 30 days. Min. 60 - 90 days seems to be the norm for a starting point.

Dang, I am getting a screaming deal on my stud colt, although he's in training for the snaffle bit futurity and I'm only paying $850 a month and that includes cattle work and that's with one of the top trainers in the industry lol

Who is training your horse? Most SBF trainers I know charge $1000 - $1,200 a month.

Blue Allen and I absolutely love him! He does have a waiting list, but so worth the wait!

$800 a month for a TOP trainer that's more than proven in the industry. JMO I've done plenty of searching.. and for foundation work a hall of fame reining trainer lives down the road and charges 600 a month.

I think prices are all over the place. If you are looking local, usually local trainers who have good creditentials are going to charge $750+ a month... I think I read Lance Graves charges like $1500 a month for barrel training... so I think it really depends on location, the creditentials of the trainer, etc... I don't take barrel horses, but I charged $650 a per 30 days to ride/train outside horses... I raised my prices to $750 for this season, mostly because I don't want a ton of outside horses, so if I am the most expensive in my area maybe no one will come to me hahaha

Around here the average rate is $700, and you get someone who is maybe not a pro trainer but definitely knows what they are doing and has horses winning and solid. $800 for 30 days would probably get you a pro or near pro trainer.
