How do you get the most bang for your buck from your round bales? I unfortunately don't have access to a ring right now.. Anything else? Thanks so much!

If I really need to make them last I drop them in the barn and unroll and take it out by the wheelbarrow. Not a fun job but also not he worst job in the world either.

Thanks! I can't unroll and throw it either.. I guess I'm looking for options to make it last in the pasture.. I'll look into the nets!

I second this! Mine paid for itself after the first bale. At this time of year, I can get twice as much time on the bales and zero waste. They are amazing!

I agree. They waste a lot when they can eat out of the round bale feeders. They throw it around looking for all the alfalfa leaves. When we dole it out and fork it over the fence they clean all of it up. It is too

cold out right now to do that though, so, they are eating free choice from the round bale feeders until this cold snap is over.

We love our net so much bought a second one this winter. I think that they made the large round bale even bigger. The one we bought this year seems bigger than the one bought a year ago. Your horses might not be to happy for a day or 2 but once they figure it out they will be fine.
