Using Back On Track blankets in the summer?

Are the BOT blankets made primarily for cooler weather use? Just wondering who all uses them in the summer time when it's 95 degrees out? Would think that horses would get awfully sweaty trying to use them during the hot summer months.

Mine only sweat in the shoulder area. I don't put them in direct sunlight when the blanket is on and I try to have the majority of their "blankie" time in the evening when it cools down or in the morning before it gets blazin hot. I've not had a problem.
