If it fits in the front and back, changing the angle of the bars will not help. Sounds like you just need a saddle with a bit more rock (curve) to the tree. Or try a bridging saddle pad.

Agreed, pictures please.

My other thought is perhaps too wide and sitting down to low in the front, popping the back up.

It has less to do with the gullet width as the SHAPE OF THE BARS. Please forget about the GULLET as a decision for purchasing a saddle. Do you buy jeans just by the waist measurement?? Of course not. There are several points of fit in a saddle as there are in jeans. Trying saddles on your horse is still the best way to decide if one fits or not. Use your hands, not just your eyes or you will be on a saddle fitting nightmare ride.

What wimpyb said. I had her look at my coming 3yr olds back. I have 2 Triple Creeks and just bought an older Crates and now an older Ammerman. I'm hoping something will fit him. I figured with the good deals I got on these older saddles, I will keep them around because surely sometime in the future with all the youngsters coming and going, they will be used on one eventually.
