What is everyone's take on Hart trailers?  I've always heard they are on the higher end quality wise.  The one I am looking at is a 2001.  Older ones good? bad?

Just bought our 3rd one last week. I will probably never own anything else. We did try a competitor that is built with a lot of similarities, but after several issues with that one, we went back to Hart. We just keep trading up to a bigger one is the only reason we got rid of the old ones.

But, I do caution that they are heavy and built to last forever. If you are not going to put a lot of miles on it, or keep if forever, they can be a little harder on the budget than a mid range trailer. Your truck will notice the difference also.

In my opinion, they are at the top as far as being bullet proof and appear to hold resale better than most.

As far as the 2001, they have not changed them much at all from the first one we got back in the mid 90s. I am sure they would have most the features and same build as the new ones.

They only issues we ever had were the saddle racks will crack between the sheet metal pan and the bracing that attaches to the pole.

Good luck.

My boyfriend has one and I LOVE it. I had a sooner and the wall fell out of it. Everything is falling apart on it! Won't ever buy another sooner. LOVE his Hart. It has a mid tack that is so handy. All the latches/doors still work great and its a 98. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another!!! They are awesome!

This one has midtack and mangers looks like a really sharp trailer.  What would ya'll think price wise would be reasonable?  Just trying to get an idea if it's a good deal and I should go for it or not!
