Spin Doctor - 2014-03-09 8:41 AM I would say that your springs are getting weaker on the back axle and allowing the front of your pickup to raise up when the tongue weight of the trailer is applied. 3 fixes that I know of is to have a repair shop re-aim lights with trailer on, but that could become an issue when not hooked up as lights will be to low. Could get the springs "re-built" or replaced. Other option is to put air bags or other load leveling device on that will keep truck level, loaded or not. Or just put up with it. Good luck!
Excellent! This is why I read this board. Learned something new and going to take our ranch truck in to see about the springs.

I had the heavy duty springs put on my 95 at about 150000 miles worked so much better   But made it ride rough when not pulling   But love that I can put anything in it now And it won't squat

We are constantly brighted in the Ford and I would imagine the springs are shot by now. It pulls some heavy loads. You guys teach me every day! Our Dodge is good so far but I do need to make sure I don't have the fog lights on.

I used to get flashed a lot on our 2006 4x4 with the 4h LQ until I put Firestone air bags on it with the compressor.  You can adjust the ride on the fly with the compressor and I don't believe I have had anybody flash their lights at me since adding the air bags!

just flash ur brights back lol

That's what I do! I have a 2005 Dodge 2500 and occasionally get flashed. So I'll flash right back at them to show I don't have my brights on. I don't think they're THAT bright, but apparently some people do. This is without being hooked up to a trailer.

This is what I do in my 2010 4x4 dually! I get flashed all the time with and without a trailer.

Remember that those of us with Cataracts  bright lights really hurt our vision or even lights that don't shine level

We also put airbags on our '03 Dodge...but we did it because we pull a fairly big trailer.
