My darling dearest, Hemi, has come up "off." I swear this horse can hold in soreness for as long as possible and then suddenly he's out everywhere. He was playing like crazy in the pasture, riding perfectly fine, from my view completely sound, then all of the sudden I tried to make a run on the pattern and he basically gave me the bird!
(which is totally out of character and usually my sign to get a chiro out ASAP
). I have had issues with his adjustments "holding" and it's been suggested to me that I get him a massage or two before hand to help the adjustment last longer. The chiropractor will also acupuncture him on the same appointment.
Unfortunately I have no clue what to look for for a massage therapist. certifications, recommendations, good quality schools they have attended?
Does someone have any advice for me to help me find someone reputable, or at least can tell me things to look for? If I'm going to get him some massages I don't want someone who came out of a 1 day clinic calling themselves a professional.
