Location: Ferris, TX | it should be perfect! I had major problems and spent way too many thousands trying to fit a particular horse and myself. Finally found one and it fit me and him perfectly. It also fit a wide variety of horses. Good luck, they are few n far between for used and I think there's a wait list on new. You will love it |

| I have one and love it- but I would definitely try it on first most are made on a 6 1/4 gullet and a 6 1/2 gullet I special ordered a 7" gullet and it fits great my horse is pretty stocky yet high withered and it fits him well- I have another horse who is high withered narrow built long backed and long through the girth he was REALLY hard to fit but I finally found a masters kay young saddle and it is great for him -so either of those saddles if you can fing someone around that has them I would definitely set them on his back and check every angle first before buying

Location: Lewisburg, Tennessee | I love mine...every time I ride in something different I always think, "dang...this doesn't ride as good as my Contender." Like everyone else has pretty much said, the Shiloh Contender fits a wide variety of horses - just depends on what pad you need to use. This is my Shiloh Contender on my 14.1 cow bred gelding with a 1/2" 5-star pad.
