Tried and True Posts: 21185 Location: Where I am happiest	For those of you that use them, or have used them...what is the best kind to buy? Do you have to have wireless signal in your barn? Does it hook the feed to your phone or computer or tv? Any help is appreciated!!

Midget Lover Location: Kentucky	There was someone on FB that posted a picture of her mare using her foaling camera. It was so clear, and she said the system wasn't too expensive. It's not a "foaling camera" but she used it for that purpose. I'll see if I can find it. Hers was a wireless connection and she could view on her phone or iPad.

Reaching for the stars.... Posts: 12704	We've got a kind of fancy cam set up, but I use it for more than just foaling. It's a Sony SNC-RZ30N network cam, and we have a TZO account that hosts it to the outside world, so it's accesible on anything you get the internet with. It pans, tilts, zooms, and has low light assisted ability. I use 2 11 watt bulbs on my mares during foaling and the cam adjusts to make that look like daylight, sans color. We have a second cam now that will give me about 320 degrees of coverage on my farm so I can check in from work here and there and see what's happening.

Elite Veteran Posts: 631 Location: Somewhere in N.C.	I bought the 'trailer eye's' system so I could hook it up in my trailer when I am done at the barn. it is wireless and reaches 1200' . My foal was just delievered last night and having it, saved my mare. I was able to watch her from my bedroom and go out when it was time. Good clear picture on the monitor. Now I can watch mom and baby in the house.
