Expert Posts: 2276 Location: ohio-in my own little world with pretty ponies :)	So apparently it was her maintence mans fault. He was supposed to go and change the locks and did it before they were done moving so when the owner came back to get her the locks were changed. We still have her right now. If MY dog(s) was locked in an apartment I'd be getting them on stat! not waiting days!! even if I had to break the dang door down!!! She obviously does not care about this poor puppy. I'm truly praying she doesn't get it back!!!!!

The Advice Guru Posts: 6419	Keep track of how many days you have this dog, and charge them board. Going rate for dog board in my area is 30/day. I would also charge transportations costs of picking the dog up, find out what price per mile is. Have a bill ready for when they come to pick up the dog
