My horse has had ulcers and I heard about alor vera water. I put all my horses on it since it helps preventing ulcers to. Ive had them on it for a week now.. Who all has used this? How long till you see results? My horse is out alot, I watch what I feed her, gave her time off from riding so she wasnt stressed.. and also how do I get rid of her dull hair coat? I read it is a sign of ulcers but I brush and brush and cant get winter hair off.

It will take more than a week for any supplement to get into the system.

Have you dewormed her recently? Maybe you can run a fecal up to your vet and see if she is clean.

I have used Aloevera Juice. Is that what you are using? You will need to give longer than a week to see a difference. What are you feeding?

you need to cure the ulcers before you can use any preventative.............just thought id throw that out there, and i think you would get more out of aloe vera juice rather than the water

She was wormed a little over a month ago. Vet said she is now cleared of ulcers (this was in the fall) and just put her on a preventive. And yes its aloe vera juice.

If she has had trouble with ulcers, I'd get her off sweet feed now.

All supplements take more than a week before you can really notice a change. I have mine in a Muscle Mass with ulcer prevent, joint/arthritis, hair and coat, and hoof special blend.
