I just got my 6x jbs stetson hat! It's awesome but it's a touch large. I am between sizes. It stays on my head and doesnt tip around but the band isnt snug. Should I return it and get a smaller one or just pad the band? I measured for the size I ordered and im afraid a smaller size will be too tight

I would return it for another size.....especially if I paid decent money for it LOL. I would want that thing to fit me!

If the smaller size is going to be too tight, in my opinion, the lesser of two evils is the bigger one you have. You can always stuff it with paper towels or something of that nature. I would definitely rather do this than have a hat that was way too tight.

Get the thick weather stripping and put a strip on front. Your hat will not come off that way.
