Feeding Forco and Renew Gold
Location: Wyoming
I have been feeding strategy to my horse for the last two years. My horse is ulcer prone so I also feed forco. I just ordered a Few bags of Renew Gold to try because I'm really interested in this feed. Does anyone feed forco and renew gold?
Or do you feed something else to your ulcer prone horses with good results?

I started to feed Forco last month and really like it with THE products. To treat ulcers I use GastroPLUS for a month or so, and then maintain with a daily supplement Muscle Mass
(ulcer prevent
). So far so good. I sent 2 3yr olds to be started and they came back rough haired and off their feed. They had been dewormed so I figured the change of envirement and actually having a JOB made them get ulcers. Within 3 days they were back on feed and within a week-10 days they were both looking better.

There is no issue with Forco and Renew Gold in the same program. The yeast culture that Renew Gold uses is produced on a proprietary NON-GMO base to meet the NON-GMO guarantee. I don't know if that is the case with Forco, but I do know that it looks like a very well made product.

I've fed Forco for over 10 years.
Right now I feed rice bran nuggets
(similar to Renew Gold but not fortified
) and Forco to the horse I'm running and a vitamin/mineral. I just add a little flax oil for it to stick. She is an ulcery type.

I feed FORCO, THE and Renew Gold. My horse looked great before adding the Renew Gold and still does.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm nervous to switch over to renew gold but excited at the same time, heard a lot of great things! And have seen results since I started using Forco and would hate to stop
