Extreme Veteran Posts: 368	What are your thoughts on using studs on hind shoes for a horse that has trouble on hard/dry ground? Studs only put in before the run and taken out right after.

Tried and True Posts: 21185 Location: Where I am happiest	To much torque on the hocks and stifle. If the ground is that bad, it's probably not his cup of tea on that particular ground. Personally, I'd just avoid races in that particular arena. There are always plenty of other choices.
