Looking for a new bit
Location: The Cowboy State
I am looking for a new bit for my 13 year old gelding. All ready patterned. You can really put anything in his mouth to exercise or trail ride, but when we run I use a tender touch. No tie down. When he was younger he was a handful and the bit worked perfect, now he is not and I think that it is to much for him. I think that he is staying backed off he tender touch tooo much. Making me have to push him too much. I have tried a Jr Cow with him running poles. I worked with him for about two weeks before but he doesn't listen to it in competition. Anyone have a good suggestion?

So you need something more than a Jr. Cow horse and less than a TT?

Haha.. Ya I guess. I hate the bit game. And to be honest, I am not good at it. Just looking for something else.
