I know I use it them on myself religiously (mostly the deep blue rub) - but how do you use it with a horse? A few drops here and there? That's what I'm wondering :) |

I know some of my friends do rain drop therapy on their horses, feed it to them pending on ailment, rub it, on pack it in hoofs....

| Using Doterra Essential Oils on your horse is so much fun. You can apply directly, apply on accupressure points, put them in a spray bottle, etc... Its important to remember that horses are much more sensitive to the oils then we are. Always use half of what you would use on yourself. 1-2 drops is more than enough when applying directly on your horse. Now for why you would use them? You can use them for focus, calming, healing, soreness. If you would use it on yourself for an ailment you can use it on your horse. I would be very careful when using the hot oils on your horse. Hot oils being cinnamon, wintergreen, oregano. Make sure to blend with a carrier oil (coconut oil, EVOO) |

Ahh this is what I was looking for - I bought the breath specifically for my horse, and already had the deep blue for myself but like the rub better than the drops, so I thought my horse could use them instead. I just wasn't sure how much to use! All about using something natural on us both  |

Good idea to put them in a spray bottle - is that what you blend with a carrier oil? wasn't sure of the most effective/correct way to go about it.
