Location: London Ontario | Anyone have their dogs on supplement? I am looking at putting my two German Shepherd on a good Joint Supplement, I have them on a Vit/Min right now, but would like to cater more towards their joints. Any ideas? |

| I know Platinum has a dog formula. I got a free sample and my dogs seemed to like it, but it was pricey. I didn't end up getting it due to that. |

| I have been using the Canine Platinum CJ for my Border Collie since last fall. He's been squished by a few cows in his life and has an old shoulder injury that we try to keep in check. After running 3 miles with me before Platinum CJ canine stuff he'd barely be able to walk the next day - NOW - no issues. He runs with me several times a week and goes with when I exercise horses, work livestock, etc and everything. I cannot say enough positive things about this company and all the products I have tried.
You start with a loading dose and can effectively back it down. I feed it with no problems sprinkled on top of his dog food.
note - it does contain more protein sooooo he started putting on weight and we backed down his dog food accordingly :)

Location: LaBelle, Florida | Springtime.com has some good supplements. I am using them on my GSD. I asked around to of my friends in the dog community and they highly recommend their products. I just started my female on them (vit and joint supplement). I have my horse on the garlic (which seams to help her with the itchys.). |

| If you have a Costco their dog food has glucosamine and chondroitin in it. My old Aussie is like a pup again, went from barely able to get around on some days to bouncing all over the place now. She no longer needs her previcox. |

| I just sprinkle some Cosequin on my dogs' food each morning. They eat it up no problem and it works. I buy the container with the horse on it - it's all the same stuff - just different packaging for different animals. The scoop in there is for an 1,100 lb horse so it basically takes a small pinch for a dog. |

I like Platinum Canine CJ as well!!! Seen a big difference in my 8 yr old Aussie. I make his dog food and the CJ has all the vits and mins needed. Flourishing! |

I use Fresh Factors from Springtime - best dog supplement I have found for joints yet - and the dogs LOVE them - chewable tablets.
Here is their website:

Not as expensive as some and it has a long shelf life. I bought a 700 gram container for $125 from my vet and it will last a very long time. You can buy smaller containers if you are only giving it to your dogs. I think I've seen the smallest container available for right around $60 at horse.com. Again, buy the stuff that has the horse picture on it - it's the most economical. |

| I use Arthri-Soothe Gold (the powdered, they sell for horses) for my IWs. Very happy with it. |
