Sorry have dropped off the grid. But my computer just didn't like this website... I'm alive and well. I am down to my last surgery to get nipples.. I'll see if my paitence will work long enough for me to get a question answered cuz you are all so smart on here...
Ace has something in his ear and I can't feel it with my finger... so is DEEP... has anyone ever flushed a horses ear to get something out. It may just be a tick but I can't reach it. It is driving him NUTS!
I do have sedation meds here to keep him quiet. But have never flushed a horses ear.

Hi there and welcome back women, have been missing your posts.
And to answer your question, I would not put anything else in his ear, I think I would just take him to the vet and let them do the hard stuff.

Glad to see you are feeling better. Have missed your updates.
I too would not put anything in his ear. That is just something I don't like to do.

Welcome back!!!
Honestly the last thing I want to do is dig in a horses ear. About the time I do I get a face full of horse face. Maybe have a vet check it out.

If you can't go to a vet, what I would do is have someone either look in his ear with a light, or myself look in his ear, if I could get the horse to stand for me.
If I could see the object, I may try to remove it. If I can't see anything then I would also head to the vet

Great advice thus far. Had a friend looking into my horses ear, she had a 20k nose job post that look.
