I use the box fans from Wal-Mart, they are great for hanging in stalls when you go to over night barrel races. |

Location: Florida.. | Just be careful with the box fans.. they are cheap for a reason.. events and all its practical but the barn ones Id get the more reliable ones.. alot of barn fires have happened thanks to those cheap box fans..running all night etc |

Location: Tulsa, Ok | I keep a few box fans around to hang on stalls when we are away from home. I do not use them in my own barn. When summer gets here my fans are usually running 24/7 for weeks on end. Box fans are just not made to hold up to that kind of usage and particularly in barn enviornment. A more expensive and higher velocity fan made for indoor/outdoor usage is much more cost effective long term and are also much safer. |

Location: Texas | We have metal fan racks that hook over the rail of a stall. They are great because when you put the fan in them, they are angled just right to put the air flow down on your horse. It is metal and only cost about $25.00. My son used the one we bought to make more and we have used them for about 5 years. They are made for the box fans but, the Wind Tunnel fan fits them perfectly!! |

Location: On My Horse! | Use the box fans with caution! I had one left on all night and the motor caught fire. Thank the Good Lord it fell directly down into the water bucket. Needless to say I do not use them except only at shows during the day. I hang the metal ones. Yes, they're pricey. I replace them yearly. I do not run any fans at night. Ohh yeah, just spent 2 hours hanging new fans last week. What a mission lol |
