We're going to Gainesville Florida for a conference that starts tomorrow. There is a Starbucks in our hotel and that's where the people putting on the conference suggested we go for breakfast. I've only been to Starbucks one in my life because we don't have one around here. So What's good and what's not good? I'm more of a cold coffee type person but open to suggestions.

Coffee is one of those things where it's subjective and different for everyone. Starbucks has so many options that it's almost impossible to suggest anything. I look at the pictures, order, and if I don't like it/need to switch something up, I'll order something different the next time around.

Frappes are great for cold coffee, but the options are limitless.

My favorite is Iced Spiced Chai Tea Latte....tastes like pumpkin pie.
I also like the Iced Non Fat Caramel Macchiato with a tiny bit of whip or if they still have the Flan Latte that is good too.

Their lemon bread is to die for (we eat is more as dessert than breakfast), but its kinda sweet. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good too.

I'd start out with a Frappe (in which ever flavor you think you'd like)... and their breads and breakfast sandwhiches are amazing..... and never pass on a Pumpkin Spice Latte in the fall/winter!

Okay, I'm 80 miles from the closest Starbucks... I gotta leave this thread!!!

Chi tea lattes - they are delicious.

I am not a coffee drinker, so the Chi teas lattes I really like.

I had to quit on Starbucks when I found it they didn't support our deployed soldier. Now they have joined the "leave your guns in the car" bunch. Here comes a big "but": They have a franchise in the Little Rock VA Hospital.

Mocha! Chocolate and coffee all put together in one delicious drink! I love coffee though, I drink it because I like it, not for the caffeine

In addition to coffee, they also have lots of food options. I LOVE their bacon gouda breakfast sandwich. They also have oatmeal, danishes, etc.

For coffee, I love their caramel mochas. I have also had their banana mocha vivano (something like that). It is their verion of a protein shake and it is tasty.

I second that. Wish Starbucks had stuck to making coffee. I can't spend my money there because I disagree with their politics.

I love the vanilla latte, with non fat milk, or the spiced chai tea, frappacinos are good too.

I'll have to try the banana mocha thing. I don't eat pork so no bacon. What about the secret menu? I found one an it had a lot of good sounding things but is there really a secret menu?

What?!  It's "seasonal" around here.  Maybe they'll start the coconut latte's, soon, since I can't get caramel flan, anymore.
