Those of you with small living quarters - how is it set up? I have a 3' short wall Sundowner I'm renovating and looking for some ideas :) I'm a part of the group on Facebook but find it's hard to navigate their page. Pics of your trailer and suggestions welcome! Thanks!

I used to "renovate" trailers on the side,,,,,,, I loved it.    First I would ask yourself whats most important to you,,,, To me it was storage,  I made use of every part of the living quarters no matter how big or how small it was.  Your plans will depend on a few things, do you have a walk thru door? Is your living quarters door on the driver or passenger side?   I like a clean look to the inside of my trailers so cabinets are a huge must for me, plus you can customize them  however you want.  I have tons and tons of ideas in my head.  Also framing in your own cabinets with lighter material will keep the overall weight down.  ( hope that all makes sence )

Take some time to browse thru some of the trailers for sale and get ideas that way.  Then sketch out your ideas on paper.

Thanks! Yes, storage is very important - no walk through door and trailer door is on the passenger side. We have some ideas for cabinets, actually bought some cabinet doors the other day so we could make our own cabinet frames so we're getting there! Trying to decide if we want a small couch or table or what on the short wall. Hard decisions! I will check out other trailers for sale. Thanks again!

Do a search on horsetrailerworld.com for small dressing room conversions. There are several posts including pictures of people's renovations.

I have found with my dressing rooms' many different lives, seating isn't important inside, but storage and surface area is. I utilize a counter and drawers more than a sofa with under side storage. If I'm sitting down, it's usually outside in a chair. The only time I spend in the trailer is to sleep or to change clothes.

mine has a couch with cabinets above and a place to put up a small table if I need one, we store the table top under the mattress.  The table has 2 legs with holes made in the floor so I can put it up if I need it.

There's a site on fb called horse trailer conversions. Also horse trailer world, look back in the albums and there are some small conversion pictures.

I found this website looking for ideas for mine, it has floorplans for 4' to 20'. You could probably adapt some of the smaller ones. I thought it was really helpful.
