I have used this bit and can't find one for myself. Does anyone have one they want to sell or know where I can buy one.

Pro choice still makes them, it's just called something else. If you want the real version of the bit, it's a Tom Balding

I have the professionals choice bit that the previous poster linked to. It works just the same as the original CJ. I have both, and use them interchangeably. The grasshopper was originally put out by CJ and PC - NOT Tom Balding.

Having rode in many Tom Balding bits if there is a Balding that is the same I would definitely buy it over a mass produced bit. Even his snaffles are worth the extra money. Not saying there is anything wrong with pro choice bits. I have a few but most are copies of an original design. I have a Don Hansen and have rode in my mom's Avila correction which is a copy and there's no comparison, just like a copy of an Ed Wright bit never has the same feel.

Ditto. Lol. If he made one, I'd have one. Lol

I have an original 7inch, a 9 inch, the new PC "derby", and the version that KLU makes.

The Tom Balding bit shown doesn't have a dog bone. The CJ Grasshopper bit I have does.

Right. That's the difference between the CJ and all other chain mouths - including the TB

There's a page with all of his mouthpieces and you can order whatever.
