| What a great update - she is beautiful. Does her forehead marking still look like the Grinch? You did not like my suggestion of Cindy Lou Who? J/K. I have nothing other than Cindy Lou Who since her markings on her face look like the grinch - which is ironic as she looks sweet as can be! |

Location: Alberta, Canada | Her marking totally looks like the grinch!! I can really see it. I love the name Cindy Lou Who, but already have one in our circle of friends! Maybe I could ask her to change her horses name. :) |

| If she were mine, I would be naming her Miracle! That is the worst case I've seen, and I've seen some bad ones. I think it was probably from her size if she's never thrown a crooked legged foal before, so I doubt its hereditary, so I wouldn't rule out a broodmare career right off. |

Location: Alberta, Canada | Funnily enough I was searching through old posts looking for something and came across this one. It feels like a lifetime ago! Such a trying and challenging journey. I ended up naming the filly "Holy Flit" (Not only because she was born not breathing and basically dead, but also because that's essentially what I said when I looked at her legs. LOL) Anyhow, quick update. She's now 10. I still own her, and she through the years she has had a very successful career as a barrel horse. Several top 10 futurity and derby finishes, average placings, and rodeo wins. She's made it back and placed in the 1D at the ABRA finals. In 2022 she had another surgery to remove a bone chip, and came back strong after her time off again. She is truly a fighter, and will always have a place with me. I am so grateful for her. I truly beleive she was brought into my life to teach me perseverence and renew my faith. |
