I've got a good looking very sweet Chasin firewater on the ground right now. I think he would balance your mare well and FFs tend to be more user friendly, not as hot.

If your wanting a barrel horse and a possible roping horse go with IMA Firefighter. Check out the videos of him roping and running barrels on this website. http://www.walzperformancehorses.com/imafirefighter.htm

If your looking for a barrel/ roping horse I would consider A Smooth Guy.
I really like my Firewater Ta Fame filly but he is a big boy.
Someone suggested a couple Tres Seis sons and we have a really nice one that has a proven pedigree top and bottom but he may be a little big for a roping horse

As far as I am concerned her age is NOT an issue.  I've bred MULTIPLE maiden mares that were much older than she is and they conceived first cycle bred.

When I told my Mom about possibly having a harder time with her since she was 12. She was like well lots of people wait and have no trouble lol Thank you for letting me know that you have not had trouble with some. But I am glad that Cheryl let me know that it could take a while. Don't want to go into this thinking it's all gonna be sunshine and roses lol

You may want to consider A streak of Fame, he is by Streak A Fling and out of a Dash Ta Fame mare, He has $20,000 in lifetime earnings and was only run his 4 and 5 year old year. He is a full brother to Fame Fling and Bling. He has a great disposition and confirmation. You can see more at http://www.hokaheyfarm.com/streaker.html

I'd go with MP Jet to the Sun or Chasin Firewater.
