Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | I'm not in the market right this moment as we just moved, I'm pregnant, and I have 1 in training however I'm hoping to be in the market by next summer. I am one to tell you that you can't judge a horse by its color, but I'm also a sucker for a good looker. I've wanted a paint for a long time now and after taking one in for training last summer I just can't help but want one even more. I just have no idea where to find them. I tried to buy the trainee I had by the lady wouldn't sell him and wouldn't tell who he came from( which was a paint breeder) anywho... I'd like to start looking and getting a feel for what's out there and where. Any suggestions? |

Location: Northern CA | Let me start off with, I am not a paint fan. However, I ended up buying a BS paint this spring. He is by the sire of my good AQHA horse and out of a Freckle Smoke Face paint mare. Really like the FSF line. I am not sure where you are located but I have a good friend in northern NV that raises really nice performance bred paints. |

Location: Central Montana | I have a solid paint that is 1/2 cow and 1/2 running bred. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/playgirl+with+cash
I had her for sale at one time but am thinking of breeding her next spring to an NRHA derby winner that throws a lot of white on his babies. Might still end up with a paint that is 3/4 cow and 1/4 race. |
