So i'm looking for some advice... I used to have an 03 Chevy with Captains chairs...i loved that truck... but i sold it to get a less mileage dodge... but i can't stand it anymore and i'm going back to a chevy... problem i'm finding is that very few trucks have the Captains Chair and all the ones i'm finding have the Bench seating in the front....  Is this very comfortable?  I'm gonna to test drive one this weekend but hate to waste thier time if they aren't comfortable.

Thanks!

I've never had a chevy bench but Ford's bench is very comfy so I would assume Chevy's are too?

You can always call a wrecker service or junk car lot for a scraped chevy with captain chairs and have them pull the chairs for you. I bought my bench that way and it cost me like $30 installed. If you can't find one with the captain's chairs don't compromise. You can always get exactly what you want.

We've always had bench seats in our Fords, until we bought our 7.3. The captain's chairs in those are SO comfy. I would assume other brands are the same.

I've had both in the many Chevys and GMCs I've had over the years and I think the benches are comfortable. In some ways I've liked the bench better cause I had an extra seat if I needed it.

Our chevy had a 60/40 split seat and while it was comfy, finding affordable seat covers was impossible! New ford has captain's chairs and I LOVE them! Mostly because I can adjust the height of my seat when I'm driving

first truck my mom bought was a gmc 1500 with bench seat. It was pretty comfy and we drove 1000+ plus miles in that truck over 2 days. 2nd and 3rd(current) truck had/have captains chairs. Love them too. Only issue i have is if i want seat covers i will have to get custom or plain ugly due to arm rest integrated into seat.
