Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | I've wanted one for quite sometime and now they're popping up everywhere. Here's my question. Does the black dye fade on to your jeans? Or is it just like any other dye? I will hopefully be purchasing a new saddle next summer and would love to order it in black!!! ?? |

Location: USA | I have a black Triple Creek and I've never had an issue with the dye rubbing off. The black saddles look sharp on buckskins and grullos. |

FACEPALM!!! Perfect point!! Thank you! Sad thing is, I have a cheap black English saddle that I've rode in a bunch. The common sense that I lack at times amazes me... |

| Well, it depends on the brand and the quality.
I have a black Dakota barrel saddle, and the dye faded in multiple spots, some to the point of it becoming a chalky gray color, and I would never own another black western saddle.
I think its just poor quality, but turned me off from having another. I'll get pics tonight and upload them tomorrow. |
