We are looking to purchase our first living quarters trailer and have a trailer and a car we would like to use on trade in. Just wondering if anyone knows a dealership that does this in Texas.

The trailer store in Huntsville does that I think. Good luck. Ask for rusty or trey.

We looked around at NRS OKC and told our salesman "we have to sell a 1966 Mustang before we can buy." And he mentioned that they could take it in on trade.  So you might can check with NRS in Decatur.

If you would need Rusty's phone number pm me.  My neighbors and friends go to church with him and I can probably get it for you.

You will get more for your tade in if you just list it yourself and get cash in your hand. Even if you list it below book value you will do better than trading in.

I appreciate all of the helpful responses. I spoke with Trey today from Huntsville and he said they don't do that, which stinks because the trailer I want is there :-(
I will call the other suggested places on Monday, but thanks again to all!

Might look up Bridget Thomas on Face Book- I see she takes trucks in trade and I see that she lists trailers so maybe she does take them as well? She is the owner of BT Buddy Stinson and has a very reputable truck sales business.

What kind of trailer do you have now? If you list the car you have for sale right now you will probably sell it pretty quickly. There are a lot of people buying cars for their college kids and high school kids before school starts.
