I want to start out by saying that there are SO many stallions available to breed to these days! And some fantastic ones at that. That being said....I need some help from all of you infinitely wiser BBs. I have a super gritty, war-horse-like TB mare that I would love to breed next year but I can't for the life of me settle on just ONE.
Stats on my mare: Very petite. Stands 14.3 on a hill on a good day with her mane sticking up. Seriously. TINY. And stays real fit, always super lean. Will gain enough to not be ribby but its a constant battle to keep her looking decent. But she is QUICK! 34 starts. On the board 13 times. Won $150,000. Raced/Won/placed in nothing over 6 furlongs. Super sane minded and just the greatest no nonsense personality ever.
What I'm looking for: A stallion who puts a body on his foals. And some leg. I'm 5'9" and hate riding horses where I'm either sitting like a jock with my knees around my ears or touching toes under the girth.... I like mine at least 16h+. Hopefully be futurity eligible. Wanting to stay under $2000 but we all know how concrete that rule is when push comes to shove....I know at least one of you are as guilty as I am....

Firewater finalie, i,would have breed to him but needed or wanted a little speed in the stallion pedigree. I went with a son of corona cartel. That being said there are some sons that produce good minded babies, dont know how big bodied horse. Actually, i had almost too much body on my mare. Also there are some of the tres seis stallion are supposed to have heavy bodies.

I like my horses 16h+ but know that's unrealistic out of her. Just want to try to put as much leg as possible on her.
I forgot to add her breeding earlier.

Look up Triple Vodka. A little treis seis breeding may be the way to go. Look at teehahas colts out of her treis seis son- stout and purdy... I dont know if you ll get a 16 hander but 15 shouldnt nesscarily be out of the ball park.
