Does anyone have experience with them? Are they worth the investment?

I don't have experience with torches but you might look at Spectra's Laserwrap. I have a friend who is very savvy on where horses are sore, she bought one and LOVES it! It's a Class I laser that you can wrap around a leg, or strap over a back, shoulder, stifle, anything and walk away leaving it on for hours. I use it on myself for my sore back or anything else and it's great. PM me for any questions.
Best of luck!

I have had one for about 5 years now. I confess, I dont use it as much as I thought I would. I have used my Pony Plate 1000x more.

I have one, it works well when used for a 7 day treatment course. I've seen some greet results, from lameness and pssm issues to brining a horse out of a mild colic. Unfortunately it seems like one has to study ALOT Of accupressure points to get the most benefit, and treatments are time consuming.
I'd suggest revitavet. I've had this system used on my animals too and they seem to love it. It is a more passive system in that at you place it where the horse is hurting, let it run, then come back and move/remove it. The price is a bit higher, but I wish I'd bought it instead of the torch. The system uses red light and infrared...similar frequencies to BOT products.
