horsesinharleton - 2014-08-06 10:11 AM Be sure and take pictures or videos of whatever you are returning (as you are returning it). They sound like the kind that would accuse you of tearing up whatever it is that you borrowed and you sure don't want to have to fight over that!!
We didn't go out to eat with them one time during the NCAA championship games. They got mad and told us they talked about egging our house. So I wouldn't put it past them.
If that's the case, I would return it as soon as possible before they report it as "stolen!!! |

Location: N Texas | Just return their stuff, and thank them for letting you borrow it. You owe them NOTHING. You offered to pay them at the time and they declined, so they are not entitled to anything further.
I also don't think you owe them any kind of explanation unless they outright ask. With some people, the less you say, the better. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | Its needs to be returned, so just return it, but make sure its in a good spot so they will see it as soon as they go outside/return home, but a safe spot so that it cant get stolen. Dont be feeling guitly over ending a friendship that was toxic. Sounds like it was coming no matter if your hubby went off on him are not. |

I was going to call/text him and ask him if they were going to be home, and if not, where they would like for us to drop it off. I didn't just want to dump it in their yard, so hopefully my text will be a heads up for them. |

I would rather let someone know that I was returning it that same day so they would know to look for it. I think you are doing the right thing by texing him and asking where to leave it. It was their lost, but their fault that the friendship was a toxic one. |

I had thought about a gift card also, but honestly, I think my husband would be so against it just because of how he has been treated. I wouldn't give them crap if they treated me bad and they'd be lucky if I didn't send them a box of poop from www.poopsenders.com.
OMG - you are a scream!!! This website is blocked but I had to let you know I LOVE your humor! |

You might even want to have another friend go with you to return the equipment just to have a witness that it was returned in good shape if necessary in the future. |
