Anybody have any recomendations for a good colt starter near Burkburnett, Texas? I want someone close enough that I can check up on for my mom. No specialized training needed necesarrily just need them to have a very good foundation.

Preferably within 2 hours. Mom has an Arab gelding that needs to be started and is a firecracker and a small appendix mare that has a few rides but has been spoiled and needs lots of wet saddle blankets. Both are 4yr olds. The mare has a bad attitude that needs worked through. I usually start her horses but the arab and I dont get along. I could do the mare but I think she'd do better with someone who has more time to ride her really good.

It may be too far for you, but I highly recommend Travis Braden at Braden Training Stables near Ft. Worth

Get on Facebook and look for Amy at the barn. Great gal and will take care of you. I've got her number somewhere too if you PM me.

Might look up Butler Performance horses on Face Book or Josey Butler. I think they are in that area?? I think Leesburg.
