Info on differences btw Cecil Philips vs the Ed Wright? I like the CP but am having trouble finding one but found an Ed Wright?  Looks the same and seems to have a wider fit.

I have both and they ride very similar! Not much on difference between them. I would not hesitate to pick up another Ed Wright!

Just kidding, the one I was looking at was advertised as a 13.5" but pictures of seat measurement show it more of a 14/14.5" depending how you measure. So now my question is what about the Shiloh contender? Found one of these but are they a lot different then the CP?

Β Yes contenders are different. They run big because of the cut back swells buy 1/2 a size smaller than normal. I was a fan of my first contender on my more tb built qh but not on my special order 7" gullet for my stocky appaloosa. He wears a 7 or 7.5 in a crown c so not overly large. The contender made him buck. I loved my ed Wright and Jerri Mann Shiloh though.

Hmm contender probably won't work for my guy then.  He's got a pretty wide back.  A Jerri Mann fit him great when I tried it but I cannot find one!

Β  You can always contact Jerri and order one. My favorite saddle, I'm down to a 12" for my son I wish my butt was that small. Hard to find anything over a 14".

I bought a 12" Jerri Mann for my daughter for when she outgrows her 10"...and couldn't resist trying it on my gelding, since I've been trying like crazy to find a treed saddle for him.  Didn't work on my horse, and I'm sure I looked ridiculous, but I really liked the saddle-- even being too small it rode very balanced.

I need a used Shiloh Contender and can't find one anywhere. Do you know of anyone who keeps new ones in stock to sell so I don't have to wait on an order?
