Nuclear Medicine test

Anyone have a nuc med test done on their horse? My husband heel horse has been off for the last couple months and I've been to my vet who referred us out to Purdue University. He's off in his front left leg and Purdue also said he's off in his right hind too. We ended up blocking him up to his knee and he was a ton better but not 100%. He had a previous suspensory strain last year. We did an xray of his knee/cannon bone area, and we did an ultrasound. Ultrasound did show the same suspensory strain and possibly an avulsion fracture but the vet wasn't really impressed with the findings. So now we are at the nuc med test...Any input would be greatly apperciated.

My good mare had mystery lamenesses. After around $2000. with regular vets, I went to Ohio State and had a nuclear bone scan. I opted for both soft tissue and bone. One vet thought that it was in her spine and another in her shoulder. Ended up being hock and knee. It really relieved me to discover that her spine was fine as was her shoulder. To me it was well worth the money.

We are doing the soft tissue phase too. He already had his hocks injected 3 weeks ago. My husband stated he did feel better but still off. I could also still see the head bob. The Nuclear Medicine whole body which we opted to do instead of just the front half of the body was $1200 to $1400 dollars....
