| I was down to have my last surgery next week... Should be a big YAY... right?
yeah NOT!! Last Saturday I get a letter in the mail stating "Your insurance is void as of Aug. 18, 2014." REALLY? I was told at the beginning of all my cancer stuff that I have 2 years from diagnoses to final reconstruction. OK so why did I get this letter? I make the calls. "OH you were suppose to file for cancer insurance what you have is just low income insurance with a qualifying minor." Like I understand that.
Most of you know my journey. I would of been happy with just the double masectomy, but the insurance would not pay for it without reconstruction.
Long story short I have no insurance and won't be getting my final surgery any time soon.
There is GOOD news. Maybe.
I contacted the cancer insurance organization about this final surgery, and there is a woman that is going to get something going to get me fixed up. She's hopeful that it should only take about 2 weeks to get me set up. But of course that will be just in time for great trail riding in the fall. I'm not complaing about that as long as I get nipples!! 
What this all leads up to is........
If your poor or without health insurance and, you live in Oklahoma and develop breast or cervical cancer, go online and sign up for Oklahoma cares insurance. All your treatments up to and including reconstruction will be taken care of. Do not sign up for SOONERCARE...
I wish some one had told me this BEFORE it got to this point.

Location: In a happy place | Dam it girl! Hopefully there will be someone to help you get all this straight. I have a friend that didn't want the nipples so she could go bra less so I hope if you can't find a way to get this surgery maybe you can be comfortable with it.

Well certainly he has the nose for it... Them horses can sniff out food in pretty short order.... I hope things go better for you in your effort... Personally I think nipples are overrated... You can have mine if you want them... I'm totally embarrassed to admit I've got bigger tits than my 1st girlfriend.. and she had nice ones :/ |

Yes I am.... But I never much liked killing things that aren't bugs... I'm good with horses and dogs tho.. :) I guess I could shoot a gopher or two... But don't expect me to shoot rabbits... |
