Do they have anything at the school? Like in the bookstore, library, etc.? Some of my college friends who are super busy straight A students have done that. I did the opposite, I work a ton and go to school part time.

I waited tables at the most expensive restaurant in town.  I was able to work Monday and Tuesday nights and save the weekends for rodeoing.  I made way better money than minimum wage and could pick up extra shifts if I wanted to because there was always someone needing a shift covered.  Working at night meant I had time to ride after class.

I worked for the university in the computer lab. Most schools will have some student jobs just ask everyone and bug them they will find you something.

Oh how I wish I could just go to school and not worry about work. I work full time and go to school full time online so I can do both. I am in Stephenville. I would say something at the school or a couple nights a week at a restaraunt.

Lope horses to help someone keep their horses legged up or cutting trainers who do lots of exercising. There are a lot of horse trainers in the area who need parttime horse help. Just put an ad on craigslist facebook local feed and tack stores.

Try to get an on campus job. I have worked for one of the university's tutoring center for 3 years now. I started as an office staff, then got promoted to office manager, now I'm the evening supervisor. Most places on campus are really flexible with your schedule. I am always able to work in-between classes (even if it's just for an hour).

ETA: Depending on where you are working at on campus, when you have down time at work you can work on homework.

When I was in college I was a bartender and server at a Days Inn.  I made really good money there, but a front desk job would also be good.  Typically the shifts are like 3-11pm and you could work maybe Mon-Wed nights.  You would have a lot of time to do homework because there is tons of downtime after the check-in "rush" in the early evening.

Serving all the way! I don't think I could ever do anything different. I can easily make around $100+ in four hours in a small town restaurant.

Bartend or waitress. Depending on what you want to do, you might be able to get on PRN at a nursing home or something as a CNA or Med Aide. Then you can pick up the hours you want depending on the place. At the place I work, you just had to work 1 weekend a month. A bartender or waitress makes more but being a CNA will give you great experience if you want to get into healthcare. I worked 20-30 hrs a week while going to school full time

Both if my kids had on-campus jobs- daughter was a bus driver & son worked for maintenance. It was great because they both had very flexible schedules, kept their jobs for summer jobs if they wanted, & home for holidays. It was steady work & they stayed employed all 4 yrs. The downside is that the pay was not great.
