not finished- only need minor help on first barrel
(left
)
needs a little bit of lift coming into the barrels
light mouthed
does not need much whoa
has lots of bend naturally
She is currently in a dog bone Jr cowhorse lifter looking bit that has about an inch and a half purchase & shank and about an inch of gag with VERY little curb contact.
Also, on what kind of horse would you consider trying the Connie Combs Stabilizer bit?

id try the ed wright short shank
(2 piece
) or the sheri cervi short shank
(with the square mouth piece
) ..........these have become 2 of my favourites
some horses can get bracey with a mullen mouth piece
(i googled the cc stabalizer and it came up with a mullen mouth piece
) if you like the cc bits you could try the
Sweet Iron Correction Bit....
i do like the simplicity but i dont think it will help you coming in to the barrel
(i love the finish of the simplicity
)

My go to bit is definetely my short shank cervi lifter. I feel its works on a large variety of horses.
I also like the CJ Ryan bit.
(both twisted dog bone
)
