Not barrel related but did you hear about this? Β My understanding is they had entered two sanctioned rodeos, made enough at the first one to qualify so did not go to the 2nd one. Β After the fact, the first rodeo was "unsanctioned"- don't know why, causing winnings to longer count and bumping them back down to 16th.

PRCA: Richards, de la Cruz win appeal, join WNFR field

Β
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. β€” The grievance appeal filed by team ropers Tom Richards and Cesar de la Cruz has been ruled to be valid by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and they have been placed in the draw for the Dec. 4-13 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
The decision bumps header Chad Masters and heeler Kinney Harrell down one spot to 16th in the Windham Weaponry High Performance PRCA World Standings, and out of the WNFR lineup.
Masters and Harrell now have the right to enter into the same three-stage Grievance Procedure (Rule B11.3) which granted relief to Richards and de la Cruz.
PRCA β€” For comprehensive coverage of the cowboy sport, read the ProRodeo Sports News, the official publication of the PRCA, and for daily updates of news and results visit the PRCA's official website,Β www.prorodeo.com.

I don't know why they could not have figured this out when they first made the decision about counting the money.

On a brighter note, I can say that Stingray is fit, rested, and in perfect health for the finals. She looks amazing.

I'm excited to see a bunch of new faces. With that being said, I still miss watching Martha run, that mare is a beast

I know this is a stupid question but what happened to martha??

Nevertooold - 2014-11-14 4:23 PM I just found out on FB that Sherry Cervi got married at the end of Sept.  Congrats to her and Cory!

that so nice,  I met her and Cory a few years ago where I lived here in Stephenville.  What a nice lady and so unassuming but exciting to watch her run.  Talked to Cory a bit and he was very interesting and excited for the year to come.  Congradulation to them both.....

Nothing is wrong with Martha.  Lindsey got tired of traveling.  She's pulling embryos on Miss Martha so we can watch Baby Marthas come running down the alley.

tebar - 2014-11-14 1:10 PM waiting for WPRA to post their audit on # rodeos will be enteresting to see if they do one, hate to see anyone go out but it sure isn't right for someone not to get to go if thsy should be in. It is happening in the TR for the PRCA right now, but, they did something at least. Not so with the WPRA they are never on top of things, happened before and due to their own fault may happen all over.hopefully not. Been on the wrong side of their decisions before.

Now, that is interesting!   I would hate for someone to get bumped too, but right is right.
I wonder how the PRCA will handle their "problem" before the NFR we all know the court system is slow.
