Subject: Wise Dan out of Breeders' Cup

Wise Dan was found to have a fracture in his distal fore right cannon bone. It isn't life threatening nor will it require surgery. It has not been decided whether to bring him back next year. Horse of the Year is now a wide open race which is not to say he's out of the picture.
