I'm sure you'll get tons of positive responses here but I was not impressed in the least. I fed it for about 3 months and saw no differences in my horses and it qets quite expensive if you feed the max amount. I can't imagine the minimum amount doing anything impressive so I considered it a waste of money.

I fed them, didn't see a difference other than shiny coats.

I just started my hard keeper on them about 3 weeks ago. I am not much help though since I really changed her diet up quite a bit but whatever I am doing is working out great! She has put on so much weight, her coat looks amazing, and she feels so good to ride. I feed 1lb alfalfa pellets, 1lb beet pulp pellets, and about 1.5 cups of BOSS plus 2 alfalfa flakes morning and night (4 flakes total) with all the hay she can eat during the night and turnout on grass during the day.  I have taken her off all sugar and starch (other than grass). I just kept having lameness issue after lameness issue, she wasn't putting on weight, she was tight muscled, and her mane looked burnt so something was going on. I switched up her diet and everything has done a 180!

My cockatiel doesn't even like them. She shares those with the doves and sparrows.

BOSS won't keep a black horse black, night turnout, UV sheets, and paprika will only help.

I've heard because black sunflower seeds have a high amount of Omega 6's it can cause inflammatory response.  Omega 3's have anti inflammatory properties.  I don't how much needs to be feed to cause this, but with my gelding with hock injections I don't want to add to any inflammatory problems....lol
