Sounds like you should use the OTC to treat ulcers and then to maintain them use the gastroplus for THE. I wouldn't want to keep my horse on the omparzole long term. If the gastroplus from THE makes the stomach lining better and also helps hindgut, that would be the key. JMO So far that's what I've gotten from this post.

I love my GastroPLUS! It helped my horse more than I realized. I was able to get it cheaper from a distributor of THE and not from the company.
