We have a 3 horse slant gn and are considering trading for a horse stock combo.  We do not haul allot a few jackpost and to the vet when needed, if we can trade right  I will not be paying on the intrest for the next 4 years.  We usually don't haul cows very often, but only have small stock to haul the cows in and would be in a bind if we needed to haul more than 3.  Any input would be appreicated. Don't want to trade and then regret it.  thanks and God Bless!!!!!

That's all I ever used growing up was a stock trailer. When I would haul 1 or 2 I would put 1 up front loose and close gate and put other in back and they would always ride backwards. Good for long hauls doing it that way as well. Now I have a slant but plan on having a trailer made soon and am leaning towards a stock, mid tack, lq.

I love my stock/combo.  We can haul more horses, they can stand however they are comfortable, we can haul saddled, and it's not just a "horse" trailer.  We use it for everything.  Ours has a 6' straight wall dressing room with a walk-through door to the horse compartment.

I have a stock trailer. It has a center gate and nice big dressing room/tack in the front. I have never needed a slant. We haul a lot of mares and babies so it works great for us. I can run all the mares in it and haul them to new pasture.

I love mine.. We can close off the front if necessary and it gives me a place to let my girls play while I saddle. We will put their rocking horses or chairs and other toys in there so it gives them some room to move around. If I am hauling with a buddy, we can seperate horses as needed with the middle gate. Or I can haul one horse in the back and let him move around as necessary. I also can fill up my water buckets so they have water and hay on the road for long trips. It may sound crazy but it does work! I have arrived at a rodeo with a full bucket of water! I also like it because my horse can untie and take off this own halter (and any others) so when traveling away from home overnight, I rest much better knowing that he cannot get away or let others loose. He lays down when he sleeps so he is better rested than standing all night. It is a good fit or me and my growing family right now.

I have a 4 horse stock combo trailer (gooseneck). If I want the stock option I can remove one or all dividers. I can haul the quads to the dunes when I want to play. I also have put a quad up in the front and hauled 2 horses in the back for trail rides. Overnite stuff is great I leave the middle divider in and let one loose upfront and one loose in the rear.

That's another reason I love mine.  When we have one that's not reliable to leave tied or if needed for other reasons, it's like having two stalls to put them in and lock them up.

I agree, I love mine. We can keep the horses saddled when hauling out to check cows, and not worry about the saddles getting banged in the slants.

It's been a long time since I've looked at a stock. I have been worried it wasn't as comfortable for them on long rides. Do they come more solid/enclosed now?
