Location: Vinton, La. | This literally made me sick to my stomach. I hope he rots in hell. Although I didn't know her personally, I talked to her by phone last year about treating my Bigtime Favorite filly that I lost many times. She was one that had a lot of love and compassion for her racetrack horses as well as her own animals. Rest in Peace Emily. A young life taken way too soon. |

Location: Ky | I was in Cadiz on Wed. Everyone I tlaked to there was in a state of shock over this. it's a small mostly farm community and this is the second murder of this type in the last few years there.
The other one to the best of my memory was a guy that killed two children and thought he killed the mother and then set the house on fire to cover his tracks.
The lady survived though and was able to tell the police who did it. The population of Cadiz is only about 2500. Very odd to have even one murder in a small town like that. |

Location: Ky | Now there's a new twist. The brother has been charged with the muder of his parents and sister and the the other guy. Apparently blamed the murder on that guy in the beginning and said he was able to get a weapon and shoot him.
The brother was arraigned yesterday. |

| I have put off posting on this, and wont give any opinion. I knew Mr. and Mrs. Champion well. I hadn't seen Emily since she was a teenager. They were some of the most genuinely nice people, that you would ever hope to meet. God fearing people, that loved the Lord. I pray for their remaining family, that in time, the pain of loss will be replaced by happy memories, and thoughts of things to come. |
