For a horse that's a mix between free runner/push style?

I need to be able to sit so I can rate in my turn but I also need to be able to get up out of the saddle.

If you've ridden more than 1 of their saddles what was your fav?

I like my Crown C. I chose that saddle because I was scared I would not be able to get up and out of the FX3. I love my Crown C.

Okay so those of you who like Crown C, are you tall? I'm 5'2 and I was told the racer would be better since im shorter.

Love my Crown C and I am only 5'2 as well.  I have not had any issues with it.

If you ride on your crotch then try crown c. If you like to sit on your pockets, try the racer. I'm 5'2" and prefer the racer.

I have both the Crown C and the FX3. I'm also 5'2". Although I like both saddles the FX3 helps me to get up over my horse and ride more forward after a turn but also allows me to sit and holds me in a turn.

Thank you! That's just what I'm looking for.. Can you tell the difference by just sitting in them on a stand?

I have 2 crown C, I'm also 5'2". I've not rode in the fx but these are the best saddles I have rode in to this point and have no desire to try another at this point.. I went thru 10saddles one year and I sure hope I'm done lol. (I actually made a little on each one and found someone just dying for my CJ cactus so I got into my first crown C CHEAP!!! Love the saddles.. Guess main point is it hadn't mattered style of horse.

I agree with this!  I love my FX3 much better than my Crown C, the swells are bigger so they help in holding a deep position, but the stirups are set so you can get up and over in a hurry too!

I have very strong turning horses and have back, trouble. I seem to sit up about a have steide late and catch my horses a little only on the first. Will the fx or crown help with that.

Can you explain more? You aren't rating soon enough on the first?

I've rode all 4 of the different types of Martin saddles. I have to older original Cervi saddle, that I really love. For me it seems to fit my free runners the best. It isn't a deep saddle, but I like the feel of it. I've had this saddle since 06 and it has worked on lots of my horses. For my more ratey type horses I LOVE my Racer. It has actually become my favorite saddle to ride, and I will be shopping for a new one here in a bit I think. It has the seat like my older Cervi, but is deeper and feels more secure on the horses that I have to ride up into the turns on. I rode 2 demos of the Crown C & bought one. I personally didn't like the way that it rode and sold them. I felt like I was riding on my crotch. I also had the FX3 demo. I liked the swells of the saddle, that part rode more like my Racer did, but the seat still felt like the Crown C. Brian and I have talked @ length and for me the Racer & original Cervi fits my riding style better than either of the new ones. In fact after the second Crown C demo, Brian told me find a Racer and buy it; that is what will fit your riding style better than the crown c. He was spot on & I love my saddle.
