Pozzi Saddle Fit question
Member
Posts: 6
Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has had any trouble with Pozzi saddles lifting at the back? I've tried the regular Pozzi and the wide and im getting the same results with both. The horse im trying to fit is a cutter, but I wouldn't consider him a really straight backed horse. Has anyone had any success with a correction pad for this? I would prefer a saddle that fits but maybe a correction pad would help? I'll try to attach some photos and hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks!

I would call Double J directly & explain issue you are having. If I remember correctly, the tree not fitting the horse properly causes it to lift in the back. but I can't remember for sure on that one. I haven't had this issue but Jimmy was explaining what to look for when I was trying a friend's saddle to see if it fit my mare before I ordered one. The wide fit tree/saddle fits her perfectly.
They go to a lot of the big shows & set up - they can fit your horse on site then you know for sure what size tree your horse needs. They have a 3rd tree now that they call the #10, I think, & it's supposed to be a little different.
