My horse is coming from weather where it's been in the teens to lower 40s.  I'm bring him to AZ, (1500 mile trip) where it's been anywhere from 50-90 degrees.  He's got a winter coat and hasn't been blanketed.  What do I need to watch for?  The place that I am boarding him at is quiet, but they have automatic waterers and I'm worried he won't figure it out and he won't drink enough.  I'm going to get the vets number that the guy uses just in case it gets serious and I probably won't ride him until next week.  Also need to get a salt block.....ahhh I'm just nervous!!
