Bit help

I've had my gelding about 3 months, I bought the bit that the lady rode him in. I bought him off consignment, the lady had him a week, any time I pulled even if it was super easy he'd snatch his head and swing it running or loping of whatever, I've had his teeth done and checked so I decided to change it, I put a draw bit on him because he wouldn't bend or shape at all, he was great in the draw bit no issues, bending and moving and no fighting or head swinging. Welllllll I tried running him in it, that did not work. I wasn't enough to rate him, however he shaped and never fought with me, any suggestions on what to try next? He really likes to play and movement in the gag instead of the original "perfect bit" that had more of a direct contact lift action.

Have you ever tried the jr cowhorse bit? That might help out you guys a bit. It's pretty light in the horses mouth, so he shouldn't fight it. But there is enough leverage to help you rate and lift for the turns. They seem to flex pretty well in it too. I use that on a few of my lighter mouth horses and it works really well!

If he worked good in a draw gag
I would try
Carol goose tree bits
Sheri cervi diamond lifter
Sue smith spur up bit
